Thanks to Lin & Rebecca, I have turned off Captcha. I had to remove the check in the "Use new interface" box. In the old interface, the settings I wanted were available to me. Once again the two of you are there with helpful advice and encouragement. Please know that you are deeply appreciated.
Sylvia and I are sharing a cold this week. Nasal strips helped us sleep well last night. Otherwise, the congestion is so bad that it's nearly impossible to breathe through the nose.
Snow is falling here in west Michigan. Looks like it will last through today with more coming again tomorrow. I'm not complaining.

Good. Glad it's gone. Hope your colds are quickly gone as well. The only suggestion I could think of was to revert back to the old interface, then I thought, "Rebecca will solve it for him."
btw, I tried the new interface, did not like it. Is that a function of stodginess, set in my ways, or what?
I hate the new interface and I hope they don't make me go onto it. I tried and I was beyond confused. I'm glad there are some smart people who could help you.
I hope you and Sylvia feel better
Okay, so this is the one and only time I kinda knew what to do! HOoray! Will you please write a letter of accommodation to my IT guy at work? He thinks I am the biggest idiot EVER when it comes to computers. :P And for the most part, he is correct.
I had tried the new interface and hated it, too. Everyone seems to be going over to these white-out interfaces. I can't see anything because the page is so white and gray or light blue! Where's the contrast?! It's very difficult. So I stay with the old.
Of course, no interface is "improved" when they remove important features. Ugh.
Vanilla, Colds are doing better. Thanks.
Pricilla - That seems to be the consensus opinion. In other words, yah--me too.
Lin - I'll never meet him, so yes I could--if that's what you really want.
Rebecca - I'm not going back to the new interface for the reasons that you describe so well.
Glad your (our) buddies figured it out!
